How to use this tool: Works on the principle of screw and bolt.(1) In the hollow space, add the whole nut. (2)The spiral handle is actually a screw, start rotating the screw. (3) when the pressure from the screw is applied to the nut in the hollow space, it cracks open, yielding the fruit/ spice. Easy!!!!
