I bought this as a graduation gift for one of my seniors. When I received it I was so impressed with the quality and the condition of the leather. It is absolutely beautiful. It is great way to keep the pieces together and travels. I cannot wait to have a match with him after graduation!

Haha, first of all, the pieces in the advertisement photo/demo are set up on the board incorrectly. The board needs to be rotated 90° so the light colored corner squares are to the players' right as each player faces the board. Light queen on light center square first rank, dark queen on dark center square eighth rank, both in the same file. Now that's out of the way..... I received this as a gift. I find it to be well constructed, soft and convenient for travel. Board and peices consolidated in one package without being bulky, fragile or prone to damage or losing pieces. Not intended to be played as a small portable set WHILE traveling in tight spaces such as a car, bus, train or plain, but in a convenient package to transport from point A to point B, perhaps on a cruise, hotel or pub. It is soft quality leather. I would recommend something like Scotchguard perhaps to protect it from stains and wet environments. Quality pieces. Heavier pieces might be beneficial, unless travel weight is a consideration.

Got this as a Christmas gift and have already played several games and puzzles on it. Though the concept is not new the look and feel of it is really nice. Pros: easy to carry around, high quality, weighted pieces, and Looks gorgeous. Cons: The pieces are hard to get in and out of the zipper pouch. I wish they extended the zipper to the full length of the board. Maybe even have the zipper curve down the side of the pouch to make it easier to get out and put back all the pieces. Its fairly expensive too.

I ordered this chess set showing the grey suet but it came in dark brown. Was still beautiful but would have preferred the grey as pictured !

Ero indeciso se prenderla in quanto non avevo trovato recensioni su nessun sito, alla fine mi son deciso e ho fatto benissimo. La scacchiera è in vera pelle, le rifiniture sono fatte bene e i pezzi in legno sono piombati e lavorati decentemente... è decisamente molto carina da vedere. Chiusa è comodissima, arrotolandola nonostante le dimensioni della scacchiera siano generose diventa comodissima da trasportare. Anche le chiusure a bottone e la cerniera per lo scomparto dei pezzi sono di buona fattura. Cercavo una scacchiera da viaggio, carina e di dimensioni decenti ad un buon prezzo... direi di aver fatto centro. Consigliatissima.

Unica pecca non ci sono lettere e numeri, ma inserirli sarebbe impossibile. Quindi bellissima ed elegante, i pezzi sono di ottima fattura.

Habe das Schachspiel in Grau bestellt und Braun bekommen, daher nur 4 Sterne. Ansonsten ein echtes Design-Stück.

La scacchiera è molto bella e realizzata con buon cuoio. Molto soddisfatto!

Was für ein schönes Schachspiel! Leicht dunkler als auf den Fotos, aber das macht es nur noch ansehnlicher. Verarbeitung macht einen sehr hochwertigen Eindruck. Spielbrett rollt sich gut aus, die Holzfiguren fassen sich gut an. Die Lieferung erfolgt noch vor dem angekündigten Termin, trotz des langen Weges aus Indien. Wir sind sehr zufrieden und selbst das Kind hat sofort begonnen damit zu spielen!

Sehr schönes Reiseschach, hat meine Erwartungen absolut erfüllt. ist gut verarbeitet und die Figuren haben einen schweren Kern was zu einer sehr guten Standfestigkeit führt und das Spielen einfach macht, da die Figuren nicht umfallen ;-)
